Beaked sea snake is a species of highly venomous sea snake occurring in the tropical Indo-Pacific. It has one of the most potent venom of all snakes and is known to be aggressive. The species is active both during the day and at night. The snake can dive underwater up to 100 m and can stay below the surface of the water for a maximum of five hours.
