Prairie Skink

The Prairie Skink has two subspecies and is one of the only five types of lizards found in Canada.

    Diet Small invertebrates like spiders, crickets, grasshoppers, etc. (avoid ants)
    Breeding Season Spring
    Clutch Size 8-10 eggs
    Mode of Reproduction Oviparous (egg laying)
    IUCN Conservation Status Least Concern
