Shore Pit Viper is a species of extremely poisonous snakes endemic to different countries of the Indian subcontinent. They are found in two subspecies – theMangrove pit viper, and the Nicobar mangrove pit viper.

    Diet Frogs, small snakes and other reptiles, also small birds and eggs and fish at times
    Venom Fact Highly venomous
    Mode of Reproduction Oviparous (egg laying)
